Email support@gambix.appFrequently Asked Questions
Do I need to create an account?
No. Gambix has no login or account system. Just open the app and start learning — your progress is saved automatically to your device/App Store account.
I reinstalled the app / got a new phone and lost my progress. What do I do?
Open Gambix, go to onboarding or Profile, and tap Restore Purchases. This reconnects your subscription using your App Store account. If your progress doesn't reappear, contact us with your approximate signup date and we'll help investigate.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed through Apple, not through Gambix directly. Go to your iPhone's Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions, select Gambix, and choose Cancel. You'll keep access until the end of your current billing period.
How do I restore a purchase after canceling and resubscribing?
Use the Restore Purchases button in Profile settings.
I found a bug or the board isn't behaving correctly. What should I include in my report?
Please email us with: your device model and iOS version; what you were doing when it happened (e.g., "playing the Najdorf lesson, 6.Be3 line"); and a screenshot if possible.
Can I upload my own games for analysis?
Yes — this feature lets you upload a PGN and see where you deviated from your studied repertoire. If you're having trouble with an upload, let us know the game's source (e.g. Lichess, Chess.com export) and we'll take a look.
Does Gambix work offline?
Some cached content may be viewable offline, but progress syncing, new lessons, and review data require an internet connection.
Subscriptions are managed through Apple. On your iPhone: Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → Gambix
